Accessibility & Travel Assistance
At Evan Evans Tours, we are committed to continually improving our service to those who travel with us every year.
If you or someone in your party requires any special arrangements for your journey, here is everything you need to know. Please take a moment to read the information below, and remember to fill out our Travel Accessibility Request Form (at the bottom of this page) at least seven days before travel.
If you have any further questions or need additional information:
- Please call us on +44 (0)207 932 8385 from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm (UK time) daily
- Email us at reservations@evanevanstours.co.uk
Travel with Wheelchairs and Mobility Scooters
Although wheelchair or mobility scooter access may be limited or difficult at certain attractions, our vehicles are equipped for the following:
- Guests with foldable wheelchairs are welcome on all of our vehicles, provided they can transfer from their wheelchairs to the designated seats unaided or with assistance from a carer or relative.
- We have limited vehicle availability for wheelchair-bound guests, so please contact us at least seven days before travel so we can make sure to arrange a suitable vehicle.
- Guests travelling with mobility scooters should contact us at least seven days before travel so we can ensure that the scooters or any additional equipment are possible to store in the vehicle's luggage compartment.
Please note that due to health and safety regulations, our staff cannot assist with boarding and wheeling during our tours. Instead, your carer or relative may help you with your wheelchair or mobility scooter and getting in and out of the vehicle.
Please check the pace of your selected tour as some of our tours involve intense walking and are not recommended for people with limited mobility.
Carer tickets
We are happy to offer complimentary tickets for carers as long as they are registered carers and provide us with documentation. Please let us know by completing the Travel Accessibility Request Form at least seven days before travel.
Assistance dogs
Assistance dogs are allowed on our coaches and in most venues we visit. Please refer to the Accessibility links below and inform us by filling out our Travel Accessibility Request Form at least seven days before travel, as this will help us make the necessary arrangements.
Hearing impairments
We are happy to provide tour commentary transcripts and adapted headphones for our audio headsets. Some venues may offer additional aids such as British Sign Language videos or interpreters, induction loops, and more. Please refer to the Accessibility links below.
Visual impairments
If you’re travelling with an assistance dog, please refer to the ‘Assistance Dogs’ section above. Some venues may offer additional aids such as audio description, Braille signage, larger font prints, and more. Please refer to the Accessibility links below.
