Venture through the ancient streets of Oxford and immerse yourself in the world of Harry Potter as you explore the filming locations in Oxford with an expert guide.
Visit The Divinity School, a location in several of the Harry Potter films (do you remember the Dance School and the Infirmary?) It is the oldest teaching hall of the whole of the University of Oxford, dating back to 1427. You can enter The Old Schools Quadrangle, which houses the different schools, including the ‘Schola Metaphysicae’. All are part of the world-famous Bodleian Libraries.

- Your train tickets and tour information will be sent to you one week before your scheduled departure date via email (or if booked within one week, then within 24 hours of booking).
- Train travel is with Chiltern Railways in standard class
- This is an unescorted tour (except for the Harry Potter Highlights walking tour which is live guided in English)
- Outbound: Depart London Marylebone after 9:00 am on any direct train to Oxford. Journey time approximately 85 minutes
- Return: Depart Oxford on any direct train back to London Marylebone on the same day
- Direct trains run approximately every 30 minutes in each direction
- Bodleian Library (Divinity School) - current known closure dates:
- 2024:
- October: 15, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 31
- November: 8, 9, 11 and 16
- December: From 23 to 31
- 2025:
- January: 1, 2 and 18
- March: 1 and 8
- May: 16, 17 and 31
- 2024:
- Please note that the closure dates listed above are the most up-to-date information. Divinity School may occasionally close on different dates, not listed above, due to last-minute events. On days when the Divinity School is closed, we will offer entry to New College, another Harry Potter filming location, as a replacement.
- Train ticket is valid for a free stop off at Bicester Village on the return, making this the ideal opportunity to enjoy the UK’s most popular shopping destination
