The hop-on, hop-off bus tour of London also includes a free cruise along the River Thames; a selection of guided walking tours and a Big Bus voucher booklet that offers a range of discounts at attractions, shops and restaurants. The tour also offers you a choice of a recorded commentary in a range of languages, or a live commentary delivered by entertaining guides.
Customers can enjoy a live guided experience in English on every single bus operating on the company’s London red route (Best of Central London), with entertaining tour guides providing memorable storytelling whilst city visitors discover the most iconic landmarks from Hyde Park to Tower Bridge from their seat. First-class recorded commentary in 12 languages for non-English speaking passengers remains available on all buses.
Departing every 15-20 mins, the new Magical Merlink route is a direct connection between Madame Tussauds and Merlin’s Southbank attractions (London Eye, London Dungeon, SEA LIFE London Aquarium and Shrek’s Adventure). It will serve all stops between Baker Street and London Eye and additionally York Road, St Thomas’ Hospital, Horse Guards and Marble Arch on its return to Baker Street.
The Red Route (Best of Central London) will run on a 5-10 mins frequency and head out towards Regent Street with additional stops at Victoria station as well as Temple to easily connect with the Green Link. The West Blue will now be a separate route running every 10-20 mins with its terminal at Marble Arch. After its Paddington stop, the tour will continue to the Hilton Metropole Hotel at the top of Praed Street and onto Baker Street
before returning to Marble Arch. A new stop at Temple has been added to the Green Link to make route and direction changes far more effective for customers.
The personal recorded commentary tells you all about London and its tourist attractions in your choice of 12 languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Mandarin and Russian. Complimentary earphones are provided.

Walking Tour offered as part of your Big Bus ticket
Walk in the footsteps of the British Royal Family and the Politicians of today and yesteryear as you journey past many of London’s most exciting Royal and Political addresses. Wind from Trafalgar Square amongst the smart addresses of Carlton Gardens before arriving at the majesty of the Mall and St James’ Park, ending under the archway of Horse Guards Parade to Whitehall. Imagine the crowds lining the streets for Royal Weddings and the political intrigue hidden from view on Whitehall; your guide will give you a fascinating glimpse into both the history and modern day of British Royalty and Politics.On days when there is a Changing of the Guard, your guide will walk you directly to Buckingham Palace to see this traditional ceremony for yourself before completing a short tour back to Trafalgar Square.
The tour is guided in English and departs at 10.30am every day from Trafalgar Square (stop 9 –red route) and will last approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

See London from a different perspective as you journey along the Thames. Imagine the sights, sounds and smells which greeted merchants arriving into London in ancient times and the thousands of vessels carrying goods to and from the capital. Travel under bridges and watch Tower Bridge come into view; the most majestic of London’s bridges. Enjoy recorded commentary picking out the best of the sights to see and revel in the opportunity to people watch along the Southbank and photograph the HMS Belfast from the water.

River cruises, operated by City Cruises, are included in all tickets with Classic Tickets offering a oneway cruise between Westminster Pier and the Tower of London (in either direction) and Premium and Deluxe tickets offering a return cruise between Westminster and Greenwich.
River cruises depart approx. every 20 minutes in summertime and every 30-40 minutes in winter.
