Is the London Pass Worth It?

Value for money?

London is one of the most-visited cities in the world and is suitably packed full of popular tourist highlights such as ‘Big Ben’, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral and many more.

The London Pass provides visitors with a means to see all of these attractions (and more) over the course of a long weekend or several days and save money in the process.

But is the London Pass actually worth it?

Check out our handy guide below to see whether or not it is worth investing in one of these popular passes.

The Bottom Line

Is the London pass worth it? Well, that depends on your definition of ‘worth it’ and what type of traveller you are.

The pass is a convenient way to explore many of London’s iconic sights and not have to worry about buying tickets at each place you visit. However, attractions such as the London Eye are not included as part of the London Pass.

It can also be a great way to visit lesser-known attractions that would otherwise fly under the radar, not to mention the exclusive range of discounts and offers throughout London that are available to cardholders.

As long as you’re prepared to accept that you’re going to have a hectic itinerary with little downtime between attractions, the pass is a stress-free way to take in many of London’s top tourist attractions.

The pass probably isn’t the best option for those who prefer to take their time or explore the city at their own pace. Travelling around at such a frantic pace to visit attractions isn’t for everyone, and if this sounds like you then it may be worth spending a bit more time planning out your own itinerary and enjoying the sights without the pressure to feel like you’re not losing money.

A Better Way

There’s no denying that frantically travelling around a city as large as London to cram as many attractions as possible into a few days isn’t everyone’s idea of a perfect trip. It’s stressful, exhausting and, frankly, leaves us feeling dissatisfied with the overall experience.
