Your Lift 109 journey begins in the Power Station’s magnificent Art Deco Turbine Hall A, where, through a carefully curated exhibition of original records and multimedia displays, you’ll discover more about the building’s rich heritage, architectural style and its impact on popular culture.
Continuing onwards and upwards, constellations of light guide your way as the elevator makes its ascent up one of the iconic chimneys, and from 109 metres at the top, you will take in a panoramic view like no other.
Battersea Power Station has opened its doors to the public for the first time in its 90-year history. Step inside this iconic building before making a thrilling ascent 109 metres to the top of the northwest chimney, where you will take in stunning 360-degree views.

Centre stage, a lighting installation whirls and glows as visitors interact with a giant multiplayer touchscreen to collectively ‘generate energy’
THE INFINITY ROOM
A dramatic countdown signals the next chapter of the experience as you step inside the interactive Infinity Room, where energy particles swirl, rise and fall around you, gathering pace as they respond to your touch.
JOURNEY UP
An express lift transports you to the base of the north-west chimney, from where you’ll board London’s brand-new glass elevator: Lift 109. Soak in the sights, the world-famous landmarks that make up London’s stunning skyline and enjoy a unique bird’s eye view of the Power Station itself.
THE LIFT 109 SHOP
Be sure to stop in at the Lift 109 Shop to pick up a keepsake of your visit.
The Lift 109 experience, including the interactive multi-media exhibition and ascent of Battersea Power Station’s north-west chimney, will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
Please arrive promptly at the time you selected when booking, as stated on your ticket. Latecomers may not be admitted
The timeslot selected is the time you will be welcomed to join the queue for security and ticket checks
Your visit includes entry to the interactive exhibition and ascent of Lift 109
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult 18+.
Infants (2 years old and under) can enter free of charge and do not require a ticket
Pushchairs are not permitted into Lift 109 and will be stored in our buggy park during your visit
Please note that there is no cloakroom at Lift 109. Please only bring a handbag or small rucksack which you can carry on your body approx. A4 size 210 x 297 mm. We cannot hold personal items for you during your visit
Accessibility: There are 39 steps to climb during the experience. If you require step-free access you must reserve the wheelchair lift in advance via this link. This lift reservation must be made in addition to purchasing a ticket. The maximum wheelchair size is 115cm by 65cm
