At Buckingham Palace, we will stop to watch a ceremony that is the epitome of the pomp and pageantry for which Britain is famous for around the world.
Elite soldiers from the British military, also known as the Household Division, have been dutifully guarding the monarch since 1660. During the ceremony, immaculately turned out guards from the New Guard arrive to assume responsibility for protecting Buckingham Palace.
Accompanied by a regimental marching band, the soldiers of the Household Division are instantly recognisable in their bearskin caps and scarlet tunics.

- Royal London Tour Starts: 9:00 am, Victoria Coach Station (boarding 8:30 am)
- Royal London Tour Finishes: 12:00 pm, and is followed by the Afternoon Tea
- Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace currently takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays (subject to availability)
- If there is no Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace we see the Changing of the Guard at Horse Guards Parade instead
- Afternoon Tea at the Rubens at the Palace is an independent visit and takes place straight after the Royal London Tour
- Allergies/Dietary Restrictions: Please inform us of any dietary requirements at least 48 hours in advance, including requests for vegetarian, vegan, halal or gluten-free Afternoon Teas
- Children 3-16 years will be served the Children's Afternoon Tea menu
- Guests are encouraged to wear a face covering when travelling on board our vehicles. Spare disposable masks are available at check-in
- Vehicles are fully sanitised before the start of each tour. All surfaces are cleaned and disinfected daily
- Hand sanitiser, antiviral sprays and wipes are available on board our coaches
