Enjoy a typical English pub lunch before taking a gentle walk through the lush green countryside surrounded by dry stone walls and native English sheep.
The Original London Visitors Centre Your Guide will be waiting to greet you at The Original London Visitors Centre, located on Cockspur Street near to Trafalgar Square. The Original London Visitors Centre is around a 10-minute walk from either Piccadilly Circus Underground Station (serviced by the Piccadilly and Bakerloo Lines) or Charing Cross Station (serviced by National Rail, Bakerloo and Northern Lines).
Covering almost 800 square miles and no fewer than five English counties, the Cotswolds are the single largest designated Area of Natural Beauty in the UK. During this Experience, we will be visiting a picturesque and lively market town hidden in the heart of the Cotswolds, with honey-coloured limestone period buildings and rich cultural heritage. We will be driving through beautiful villages and stunning countryside in our Luxury Small Group Vehicle.
Pub Lunch & Gentle Country Walk
Enjoy a delicious 3-course pub lunch in Burford, known as the gateway to the Cotswolds its High Street slopes from the high Wolds, where you have beautiful views over the open countryside, down to the willow fringed River Windrush in the pretty Windrush valley. After lunch enjoy a leisurely stroll through the countryside (weather permitting) trying to count all the shades of green.
London Victoria Train Station Your Experience will finish outside London Victoria Train Station, centrally located and easily accessible by national rail and underground, it is serviced by the Victoria, District and Circle Lines and is in Travel Zone 1.
Meeting Point and time: 8:45 am at the Original London Visitor Centre. Please wait just inside the door on the left hand side.
Departure time: 9:00 am. We are unfortunately unable to wait for late comers and there is no opportunity to join the tour at a later point.
Finishing time and end point: The tour will end at approximately 7:00 pm at Victoria Train Station (traffic dependant).
