In the UK, many travel influencers share their experiences in different parts of the world while showcasing LGBTQ-friendly destinations and accommodations. Thanks to their commitments, LGBTQIA travel influencers in the UK have created a safe space for representation, emphasising that LGBTQ+ travelling is an enriching and empowering experience.
As it’s Pride Month, we thought we’d take a closer look at some of the most inspiring and influential LGBTQIA+ travel influencers in London and the UK.

Sion & Ben – The Globetrotter Guys
Manchester-based Sion and Ben are the dynamic duo behind The Globetrotter Guys, a popular LGBTQ+ travel blog. They are a married couple passionate about exploring the world and sharing their experiences. They have visited over 70 countries and counting, and their blog is filled with travel tips, inspiring stories, stunning photography, and valuable insights into LGBTQ+ travel. Sion and Ben are advocates for equal rights and acceptance for all, and they use their platform to promote kindness, empathy, and inclusivity in the world.
Jenna & Kirsten – The Jenna Way, Homos on Wheels
Born and raised in Scotland, Jenna created her travel blog, The Jenna Way, to show how to focus on the journey rather than the destination. She writes about her views as an LGBTQ+ Traveller and motivates her followers to step out of their comfort zone and live their life to the fullest. Having visited 5 continents and 38 countries, she now shares her van life adventures with her girlfriend Kirsten on their Instagram account Homos on Wheels.

Whitney & Megan - What Wegan Did Next
What Wegan Did Next is a blog launched by a British lesbian couple in 2009 who travel the world together and share personal stories and travel tips while showcasing LGBT-friendly destinations. Based in Windsor, the two travel influencers have decided to share unique content about their lives as married wives and open gay travellers due to the lack of visible lesbian role models.

Greg & Wesley – A Gay Adventure
London-based Greg and Wesley are travel influencers and husbands who proudly created A Gay Adventure. The two met in 2008 and, years later, left London to work as singers on a cruise ship. With the money they earned, they started to plan a road trip to California – where Greg proposed. Since then, they have visited 60+ countries and, on top of their trips, share gay travel insights in particularly less accepting parts of the world – offering an excellent resource for the LGBTQ+ community.
Steff & Ells – We are wandering travel
Steff and Ells met in 2009 and travelled separately until 2017, when they decided to go on a world trip – after saving for one year and resigning from their jobs! In the following two years, they travelled to Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, New Zealand, Malaysia and India and related their experiences as Queer travellers on their blog. When COVID hit, they used lockdown time to work on their campervan conversion Bohemia, thanks to which they continue sharing their van life stories.

Callum & Reece – Bananas on Toast
Currently living in Manchester, Callum and Reece share their exciting travel adventures around the world as LGBTQ+ travellers on their Instagram account, Bananas on Toast. Dreamy destinations, hotels, restaurants, lagoons... there are plenty of photos and stories to discover, as well as useful travel tips for their community.
Andy & Jeremy – Two Guys and a Tortoise
Based in Toronto for about a year, Andy and Jeremy left the UK, where they’re from, to settle in Canada. They’ve been sharing everything from tips as a gay couple moving abroad to experiences in their new country or travels – and home pet stories. They have a cute cat named Nellie and a tortoise named Bailey.
Stefan & Sebastian - Nomadic Boys
In 2014, Stefan and Sebastian quit their busy London lives to create their blog Nomadic Boys and travel the world together. On their website, while sharing gorgeous photographs of their adventures, they aim to inspire other gay travellers to “visit more places in the world than they thought possible” and travel safely with their learnings and experiences.

David & Auston - Two Bad Tourists
Travel addicts David and Auston started their blog Two Bad Tourists as a resource for LGBTQIA travellers, where they frequently review gay-friendly destinations, festivals and events. With their content and 10-year travel experience, they aim to encourage more LGBTQ+ people to explore the world. They publish detailed guides on dining, nightlife, hotels, tours, and sightseeing and even organise their trips, enticing their community to join the fun!

Laura & Sarah - The Smith Story
The Smith Story is a YouTube channel and Instagram account that tells the motherhood adventures of married wives Laura, from the US, and Sarah, from the UK. Through their stories, followers get an inside look at living in a different country, family life, and travel as LBGTQ+ influencers.
Charlotte & Natalie - Our Taste for Life
Since 2015, British ladies Charlotte & Natalie have been a couple after meeting on a dating app and discovering they both have a passion for travel and adventure. In 2017, they packed their bags and started travelling together. Set on one year of travels, they extended their journey by one year and created their blog to collate all their learnings. On Our Taste for Life, the LGBTQ+ community can find essential advice, guides and itineraries to ease their travel plans.

Lloyd & Yaya - Hand Luggage Only
We’ve introduced this blog in a previous article on London and UK travel bloggers, but this one is an excellent reference in the LGBTQ+ community! In 2014, Lloyd and Yaya created Hand Luggage Only at Cambridge University. Over the years, they built a significant travel fanbase who love reading their blogs giving inspiring tips on destinations, food, travel hacks and more. They also own an Instagram account where they share their home life and decor in their London flat.

Matthew & Ryan
With millions of subscribers on both YouTube and TikTok, stars Matthew and Ryan share their incredible journey as a couple. Through their stories, the blog offers a fresh perspective on love, relationships, living your best life, and travelling freely. They recently launched their book ‘Love is Love‘, which focuses on self-identity, mental health and gay lifestyle to help LGBTQIA+ people figure out themselves.
Kate & Sharon - LesBeMums
Created by wives Kate and Sharon in 2012, LesBeMums is another great resource for LGBTQ+ family life in the UK – and an award-winning blog. The two lesbian mothers share their experiences of raising their child in a world still learning to embrace tolerance and diversity through activities, travels, reviews, etc. The blog is a safe space for other LGBTQ+ parents to connect and share their own stories.

Sarah Mikutel - Postcard Academy
London-based Sarah Mikutel is a writer and podcaster who shares her perspectives on personal development and LGBTQ+ travel. Amongst other podcasts on personal development, she launched Postcard Academy, where she gives resources and insight on travel, culture, and self-improvement. Sarah has interviewed numerous travel experts and speakers on her show, giving her listeners valuable insights on various topics.
Meg Ten Eyck - Every Queer
Based in New York, Meg Ten Eyck is the CEO of Every Queer, a worldwide LGBTQ+ Travel resource curating travel insights and safety tips, brand consulting, and planning lesbian events. A strong leader in the LGBTQIA community, Meg has been speaking at key conferences around the world, and her work has been recognised multiple times. This year, she has been featured as one of the top 100 Power Players in LGBTQ+ activism by PolitcsNY, Gay City News & amNY Metro. Not only is making LGBTQ+ travel a safer place her motto, but creating change for the community is her greatest pride.
