Take a journey through the history of Evan Evans
Established in 1933, we are London's longest established sightseeing company with 90 years' experience delighting visitors to London. To this day, our commitment to innovation and guest experience is at the core of everything that we do.
A Focus on Guest Experience
Evan Evans understood the importance of guest experience and sought to deliver memorable tours and a level of service that couldn't be found anywhere else. In addition to travelling by luxury coach, guests also benefited from inclusive entrance fees to attractions included in the tour price.
An Evolution in Offerings
It was only a short time before Evan Evans Tours became established as London's premier tour operator. The name 'Evan Evans' quickly became synonymous with quality and service. During the 70s and 80s, Evan Evans started offering theatre and dining experiences in the capital and overnight stays to destinations across Britain.
By the time the 90s arrived, Evan Evans had become a one-stop-shop for visitors to London. Not only could guests book sightseeing tours, but they could now also buy tickets to some of London's most popular venues and attractions. The Channel Tunnel was officially opened in 1994, promptly opening the doors to mainland Europe. This gave Evan Evans an exciting opportunity to begin offering escorted day trips from London to Paris.
Today
We continue to pride ourselves in delivering best-in-class service and exceptional experiences to our welcome guests, who remain an ever-present focus of ours. Our modern, superior coaches, complete with free Wi-Fi, USB chargers, and full onboard air conditioning, continue to deliver the level of comfort that became synonymous with Evan Evans all those years ago.
