You won’t need a Time-Turner to re-visit where the magic of Harry Potter began this summer - celebrate 25 years of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone with a brand-new feature at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London!
From original props, like the Golden Snitch, to authentic sets, such as the Hogwarts Express, embark on a magical journey through the Studio Tour and re-live iconic moments from the very first film. The magic starts as soon as you enter the authentic Great Hall set. Discover Gryffindor house banners and a flurry of floating hats suspended from the ceiling above the long tables, celebrating the moment when Gryffindor wins the House Cup during the first-year End of Term Feast.
Stop by the Backlot Stage, midway through the Studio Tour, for a brand-new show, the Secrets of Sound Effects. Experience the art of Foley during this new audiovisual experience, exploring how sound effects help bring the magic to life on-screen.
At the demonstration stage, you’ll also be able to uncover how flying lessons and Quidditch matches were filmed. The original Quidditch polearm rig will be showcased, whilst sharing some behind-the-scenes insights about the techniques used that set the standard for flying scenes throughout the film series.
Experience how the challenges that Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger had to face were brought to life. During the First Year at Hogwarts feature, the Studio Tour will house the paw mould of Hagrid’s three-headed dog, Fluffy. Restored by some of the original Creature Effects Team, the paw mould will be seen alongside the original self-playing harp that lulled the dog to sleep.
Game of Wizard Chess anyone? One of the most iconic scenes from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone will be brought to life at the Studio Tour, with a brand-new photo opportunity. This new display will feature moving chess pieces as well as the original Knight that Ron sacrifices himself on.

- Majestic Gringotts Wizarding Bank™

Famously run by Goblins, Gringotts Wizarding Bank™ is the only bank in the wizarding world. Discover the grand banking hall, adorned with three magnificent crystal chandeliers and lined by towering marble pillars finished with real brass leaves.
You can see the costumes and prosthetics belonging to Bogrod, Griphook, and many other goblin bankers and tellers. Their desks are furnished with inkwells, quills, ledgers, and piles of Galleons, Sickles, and Knuts.
Once through the banking hall of Gringotts, you will enter the depths of the Lestrange vault, which was used to store Bellatrix Lestrange's treasures, including the Sword of Gryffindor and Helga Hufflepuff’s Cup, one of Voldemort’s many Horcruxes. During filming, 38,000 pieces of rubberised treasure, including 7,014 Hufflepuff Cups, were created for the Lestrange vault.

London Victoria Train Station - Your Tour will finish outside London Victoria Train Station, centrally located and easily accessible by national rail and underground, it is serviced by the Victoria, District and Circle Lines and is in Travel Zone 1.
From 1st September 2025, the 1:20 pm departure from London Paddingtion Station will return to London Paddington Station at approximately 7:40 pm.
