In 1245, <strong>Italian sculptor Pietro Torrigiano was commissioned to design the Lady Chapel<\/strong>. A century later, <strong>masons John of Gloucester, Henry of Reyns, and Robert of Beverley were hired<\/strong> to bring the church to life.
