We always knew the fairytale wedding of beautiful American actress Meghan Markle and charming Prince Harry would be a star-studded event. Brought together by their mutual dedication to charity work, the couple tied the knot on Saturday, May 19th<\/a> at Windsor Castle. Do you remember? <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between the two of them, the couple had more than a handful of high-profile friends. Let\u2019s see who scored an invite to the biggest event of the year (even though ours seemed to have gotten lost in the post)<\/span>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

600 people were lucky enough to receive a coveted invitation to the 2018 Royal Wedding, while 1200 members of the public were also invited to greet the couple outside Windsor Castle – the invitations they received certainly looked \u2018smashing\u2019 (as we Brits would say).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Printed on thick white cards, they had a gold trim, embossed with the details of the day using American ink. They were specially burnished to bring out the shine before being gilded around the edge.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The invitations read: <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales KG KT requests the pleasure of the company of……. at the marriage of His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales with Ms. Meghan Markle at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle on Saturday 19th May, 2018 at 12 Noon followed by a reception at Windsor Castle.”<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
